Annual Joint Fund Review of the 2014 State Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution ControlTime :2016-05-29
The State Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control set up an annual joint fund review on April 15, 2014.
Eight subjects participated in the assessment, including three applications from 3 joint sub-chambers, and five applications from two joint sub-chambers. Out of these eight subjects, there were seven in which Beijing Normal University participated. The applications covered atmospheric aerosols, sewage treatment plant microorganisms, heavy metal pollution, livestock breeding resistance genes, the ecotone of anaerobic ammonia oxidation, urban surface dust and so on. Experts from six research institutes, colleges and universities took a careful review of the projects, and reached the conclusion that the applicants were all well prepared for the subject, reflecting a high academic level.
After the experts’ review, there were two subjects which received laboratory support. One was "study on quantitative monitoring and mechanism of extinction caused by haze based on the chemical composition of the aerosol hygroscopic growth factor" by Liu Xingang, and the other one was a "study on mechanism flux and modeling of typical amphibious Ecotone anammox reaction of Haihe River Basin" by Liu Qiang.
